It is with sadness that the Brock family has cancelled, indefinitely, the Aaron Brock Competition.  A dearth of applications for both the competition and this year’s scholarship reflected a lack of interest from young guitarists.

The resources of the foundation will instead be directed towards raising the classical guitar’s profile in Toronto through a sponsorship program which will bring some of the classical guitar world’s greatest names to the Royal Conservatory’s  Koerner Hall.
