The Aaron Brock Foundation is pleased to announce that we are in the process of finalizing details for a new edition of the Aaron Brock Memorial Competition.  Although we are still finalizing dates with our venue, the competition will take place in October or November, 2008.  We ask you to check back often in the near future for updates.

SEPTEMBER 15th, 2007 - COMPETITION POSTPONED

After much thought and discussion we must, with great sadness, announce the postponement of the Aaron Brock Memorial Guitar Competition.  Our main partner in this endeavour has been the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.  Our event was to take place in, and to showcase, their newly renovated building on Bloor Street West in Toronto.  Unfortunately, numerous construction delays have forced the RCM administration to postpone the official opening of the building and the resumption of RCM activities on the premises indefinitely.  We are currently in discussion with the RCM to find a suitable date for the competition.  We will announce a new date as well as new rules and deadlines for the competition as soon as possible.
